Commonly Asked Questions

What is the church service like?

Our service opens with some quick announcements, praises, prayer requests, and an opening prayer.  This is followed by our worship time, which usually consists of three songs.  Our music is thoughtfully chosen by our media team with the lyrics and some visuals displayed on two TV screens.  Our music is best classified as Contemporary Christian.  Following worship, you'll hear a few words from Pastor Kyle as we begin communion.  Our church partakes in communion weekly.  Next, we'll be led in the Lord's Prayer and then all children will be released to Kid's Church.  Pastor Kyle will open in prayer, give a sermon, close in prayer, and provide alter time for those needing prayer.  To close out the service, the children will return to enjoy our final worship song and closing prayer.

What kind of service can my kids expect?

New Life Community Church of the Valley has your kids covered!  We provide a nursery for children 2 and under,  a junior kid's church class for children aged 2-5, and a youth church class for children aged 6+.  These classes are thoughtfully prepared by our Kid's Church leaders and include an age-appropriate lesson plan, often times incorporated with music, dancing, crafts, and games!

What do I wear?

No dress, slacks, or button-up shirt?  No problem!  New Life Community Church of the Valley enjoys a very casual atmosphere where the majority of attendees wear jeans and a tshirt.  Dress comfortably and enjoy a non-judgemental, friendly environment.

How can I get connected about opportunities within the church?

The church has many opportunities for new comers to get involved!  Whether you're interested in assisting with the Kid's Church Program, youth groups, bible studies, fellowship dinners... you name it, we would love your participation!  The best way to learn more about opportunities, events, and news is by being active on the Tithely app.  You can also reach out to anyone of our Vision Team Members for more specific inquiries.
